Why this site exists
Canadian betting content is mostly written for an American market and lightly repainted. It quotes offers that do not exist here, ignores the CFL, and treats the country as one jurisdiction when it is thirteen. Ask a simple question, like which sportsbook a person in Regina can legally use, and most sites will hand you a list of ten books, nine of which are not legal in Saskatchewan.
OddsNorth starts from the province and works outward.

How we make money
Affiliate commission. When a reader opens an account through some of the links on this site, the operator pays us. That is the entire business model and it is disclosed on every page that carries such a link.
What commission does not do is change a rating, an ordering, or what we write about a book’s weaknesses. Books we have no relationship with are scored identically and appear throughout the rankings. Our method page sets out exactly how a score is built, so you can check the work.
What we will not do
We will not sell picks. We will not publish bonus figures we cannot verify from an operator source. We will not present unverified detail as fact, which is why several reviews on this site say plainly that an operator publishes no support channels or no payment methods.
Where it is written
OddsNorth is edited from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, a province where PlayNow.com is the only legal online sportsbook. Writing from a closed market makes the gap between provinces impossible to ignore, and that perspective runs through the whole site.
Corrections
Operators change terms without notice, which is why every review carries a date. If something here no longer matches what an operator publishes, tell us. We will check it against the source, correct it and re-date the page.
