bet365 review
Best overall for Canadian bettors. If you want deep streaming and broad markets, bet365 is the first book to check.
The verdict
If you want deep streaming and broad markets, bet365 is the first book to check. It runs separate provincially regulated sites for Ontario and Alberta, and an international bet365.com offering elsewhere. Availability and provincial authorization are different. bet365’s international offering is licensed in Gibraltar, not Saskatchewan. Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan identifies PlayNow as Saskatchewan’s only provincially authorized online platform. Check the terms for your location before registering. The streaming library remains the real product differentiator among books we reviewed. The trade-off is a support operation you cannot inspect until you need it.
What works
- Live streaming volume no other Canadian book has matched publicly
- CFL, NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, Champions League and PGA all confirmed on its own product pages
- Same Game Parlay+ available pre-game and in-play across tens of thousands of markets
- Provincially regulated sites in both Ontario and Alberta, plus a separate international offering elsewhere
What does not
- Support channels are not documented anywhere we could verify, the Ontario help contact page blocks outside access
- Confirmed payment list is narrow: debit card, Interac and Apple Pay, with no PayPal or crypto
- Provincial authorization and international account access are different; check terms for your location
Where bet365 is legal
bet365 has separate provincially regulated products in Ontario and Alberta. The Ontario entity is Hillside (International Sports) ENC, registered with the AGCO for casino and sports betting and listed in the iGaming Ontario operator directory. bet365 Sportsbook also appears on Alberta’s registered iGaming site list following the province’s July 2026 market launch. Outside those provinces, bet365 also publishes a Canada-facing international bet365.com offering under Gibraltar licensing.
